1. What services do you offer?

As a Registered Clinical Nutritionist, I specialise in providing evidence-based nutrition support for women over 40. I also work with people of other ages who need personalised support for a diagnosed health condition or specific nutrition concern.

My services include one-to-one and group programmes, clinical nutrition consultations, meal-planning support, and practical guidance around nutrition, movement, sleep and stress. Everything is tailored to your health, lifestyle and goals, with a focus on creating sustainable changes that work in real life.

You can find out more about my programmes by clicking here.

2. What health conditions can you provide nutrition support for?

I provide personalised nutrition support for people managing a range of diagnosed health conditions, as well as those wanting to improve their health markers or reduce their future health risks.

Areas I can support include:

  • Prediabetes and type 2 diabetes

  • High cholesterol and high blood pressure

  • Sustainable weight management

  • Nutrition while using GLP-1 medications such as Ozempic, Wegovy or Mounjaro

  • IBS, constipation and other ongoing digestive concerns

  • Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis

  • Coeliac disease

  • Perimenopause and menopause

  • Endometriosis

  • Persistent fatigue and low energy

  • Concussion, injury and post-surgery recovery

  • Osteoarthritis, muscle and bone health, and healthy ageing

  • Breastfeeding and increased nutritional needs

My recommendations are tailored to your health history, symptoms, medications, blood-test results, lifestyle and personal goals. Where appropriate, I will work alongside your GP or other healthcare professionals.

Nutrition support does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment. If your symptoms require further investigation or something falls outside my scope, I will recommend that you speak with your GP or another appropriate health professional.

If your condition is not listed, please get in touch. I’m happy to discuss whether clinical nutrition support would be suitable for you.

3. What does working with you look like?

We’ll begin with an in-depth consultation to understand your health history, current eating habits, lifestyle and goals. From there, we’ll agree on a realistic plan and identify the first manageable changes to focus on.

Depending on the service you choose, we’ll meet regularly via Zoom to review your progress, work through challenges and adjust your plan as needed. You’ll receive personalised guidance, practical resources and ongoing accountability to help you create habits that fit your life.

4. Are consultations online or in person?

All regular consultations are conducted via Zoom, so it doesn’t matter where in New Zealand you are based. Whether you’re in Invercargill, Auckland or anywhere in between, you can access personalised nutrition support from home.

I occasionally offer in-person consultations at selected events. Book a free discovery call to discuss the best option for you.

5. Can I claim the cost of my consultations through my private health insurer?

As a Registered Clinical Nutritionist and active member of the Clinical Nutrition Association, I am recognised by Southern Cross Health Insurance, nib and Accuro.

Depending on your policy, you may be able to claim some or all of the cost of eligible nutrition consultations. Please check directly with your insurer before booking to confirm what your policy covers.

6. Do I have to give up my favourite foods?

Not at all. My approach is about balance, not restriction. I’ll help you find realistic ways to enjoy the foods you love while still working towards your health goals.

There are no rigid diets or long lists of forbidden foods, just practical, sustainable changes that suit your lifestyle. You can also visit my blog for simple nutrition advice, meal ideas and recipes.

7. How do I get started?

Getting started is simple. Click here to book a free 30-minute discovery call, where we’ll discuss your goals, what you’re currently finding difficult and how I may be able to help.

There’s no pressure or obligation. It’s an opportunity to ask questions, learn more about my approach and decide whether working together feels like the right fit.

You’ll also receive a free copy of my eBook, Delicious and Nutritious: High-Protein Recipes and Benefits for Women Over 40. Alternatively, click here to sign up to receive a copy directly.
